PPE Only Works if you Wear it!
No matter how careful you are, the unexpected can happen. PPE is designed by experts to protect you against specific hazards by forming a barrier between you and the hazard.
Procedures require the use of PPE. It is imperative that the PPE fits properly and is worn when necessary.
To make sure everyone gets the right protection, survey the area before each activity and identify hazards that provide risk.
Remember that PPE protects a worker from the expected and unexpected hazards when other methods fall short.
